I have been asked by several people to give private art lessons and I have decided
to finally give in and do so.  If you are interested in getting art lessons from me, please

When you first start lessons with me, I try to evaluate what you already know and
the current level at which your artistic ability lies, and determine what you still need
to learn. These lessons are NOT a workshop! I do not just teach you how to draw a
particular picture. Instead I teach you the fundamentals and we will work on drawing
pictures as you progress. The medium I mostly work with is, of course, colored
pencils (Prismacolor to be exact, but all professional grade colored pencils qualify).
I also combine colored pencils with watercolor pencils, pastel pencils, and soft
pastel sticks.

One requirement for these lessons is that you must live within reasonable travel
distance from my home. However, I am considering doing art lessons through the
internet as well. Either way, details and payment are worked out privately.  Please
